Newsflash!: Home and Garden Expo 2013

You need a new house to place to your Second Life garden or beach or maybe you're bored from your furniture and want new ones? Look no further! Home and Garden Expo 2013 opens today 24th May and lasts till June 2nd and showcases the latest and best designs for home and garden. And it's set in 8 sims! Yep, you heard it right, 8 sims specially designed for this event. Also Home and Garden Expo is a Relay For Life event that means all money raised from it will be used for Relay For Life. So if your passionate about interior design, or just need some new stuff to decorate your home, to know that your money will go to support people who are affected by cancer is another good cause to visit the Homeand Garden Expo.
I had a chance to go earlier before its official opening time as a blogger to the Expo and my mind just blew away with all the cute and amazing designs..Got myself new houses, new furniture and accessoiries and cant wait to show you all of them and how I used them in my tiny green corner in Second Life... I want to start by this amazing cottage made by "By Dorian". Its is one of the most prettiest cottages I seen around and the best part is, its only 32 prims! Yep you heard it right, 32 prims!! It has a kitchen area, a spacious bedroom and living room. I have did my landcaping with HPMD grass and the beautiful flagstone pavers and lush planters by [ba] barnesworth anubis  and again you can find them in the Home and Garden Expo till June 2nd. Also, I placed the cute crumbling walls by Inspired around it..Another great find from the expo.

The cafe tables set is another amazing release for the expo by What Next. The Garden Cafe table and chairs set comes as different coloured sets and matched with its beautiful Garden Cafe Caravan set and I chose the wood/natural look version here.. It comes ready with a iced tea and cupcake tray and a little vase. I paired it with kitchen cupboard, stove an fridge from Post and Lisp sink and placed it to my cottage kitchen. Also the banner from Ionic and the the art from Cobblestone suited to my kitchen perfect!

Mudhoney's latest bedroom also can be found in the Home and Garden expo and it truly blew my mind off! Its a cute single sized bed which allows a lot of single and kid animations! For those who have a family and have kids in Second Life it's a cant miss item! It has even dolls in it, and small  bedside tables and is truely beautiful! I strongly recommend taking a look to the Mudhoney spot while visiting Expo. I paired mine with the Addison chandelier from Mudhoney again, divider by Ionic and wall art by Cleo Design. Cleo Design and Ionic also can be visited in the expo. My expo blog posts will continue till June 2nd so watch out for this space!:D <3

Fascination

I have a fascination with kitchens..Yep you heard it right, I am obsessed about all things related to homes but kitchens lately been my fascination..! So many designers create everyday so many cute things in SL and I am amazed by the high level of details lately those creations have...Second Life is 10 yrs old very soon and in these 10 yrs (as I heard from the old players)it  has been changed sooo much. It changes to better day by day in terms of creativity and shopping! So back to the kitchens, the spice jars from September Arcade Event have been a tough search for me, I have collected all the sipce jars except the famous "Ewe" jar:P And I still want that, so if anyone has it, give me a yell and I'll trade any rare of mine from my list inworld..:)) And those Oh Mai spice jars and  the spice rack suits to every and all kitchens in Second Life!! Oh, if you dont have a kitchen in SL, you better start reconsidering having one!! In this picture below, I used the Cheeky Pea Dalgety Kitchen, OhMai Spice Jars and the spice rack plus accessoiries from What Next (that pink teapot and the kitchen clock won my heart <3) See you very soon!:))

A Forest

I know May's came already and everyones wanting a bit of sunshine and sea smell etc but I wanted to return to the dark forests, windy hills and listen Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights and A Forest by The Cure while hiding in my little gypsy caravan from Zigana. As you know The Arcade event will be opening in July and I am one of its biggest fans (and hardcore traders:p) and in the March round I was so happy to get my hands on the Zigana caravans from the Arcade. I tried so hard to get all the rares from it and I did succeed in the end!:D And recently I have transformed my land as an enchanted forest (with the Skye Design Enchanted Woods building pack) and this little Zigana caravan fitted perfect to it..Then for a bit of spring mood, I have poured myself a glass of iced tea from What Next's Iced Tea Dispenser (available in The Garden event by The Liaison Collabarative till May 10), took a pretzel from Circa Livings basket and watched the birds come in and out from the little birdhouse of Circa Living which I placed near the caravans door. You can find all the other styling info below, and I strongly recommend visiting the The Garden event by The Liaison Collaborative before it ends in May 10. Enjoy<3

Dreaming in the Garden

Hi all!:) I dont know if you went to The Garden Event at Liason Collaborative but if you havent yet, you're missing out big time! I have visited it a few days ago this event about the garden features and accessoires and  dazzled by all the gorgeous garden items designers have prepared. What Next, Mudhoney, Cheeky Pea, Fri.home, Ba, Bauwerk, Vespertine is just a few of the designers who participated. I personally fell inlove with each of them but What Next's Garden Cafe Caravan idea is just too cute to resist. A little caravan cafe  and lots of table accessoires so you can seperate them and use in your home and garden or use all of them as a set (and you can buy some pieces seperate too).  I have set mine in the corner of my garden and just watched it in admiration as little birds and a white rabbit stopped by it! You will see more pics  from this event soon in here, so watch this space!

Welcoming Spring

I was away from blogging for whole March. Why? Because I was running around like mad at the Arcade Event trying to see all the amazing designs creators created for us! But meanwhile I still managed to move again, change to a new house, decorate and do it all over again!:D This will be a relatively short post, I have so many pictures and products stocked up and you will be seeing all of them in the coming weeks. But I wanted to welcome spring with colour. Freshly cut grass , pastel coloured bicycles, comfortable cushions and words full of love is what April is all about and this house brings all those into mind. Enjoy:D

Lavender Hunt Days!

Do you like hunts? Do you like bargains and freebies? And shopping? And colour? If you say yes to all of above then I predict that you already know about the Monochrome Hunts (http://monochromehunts.wordpress.com/). The hunt which focus on a certain colour and that the designers create an item in that colour only! And this month they focus on Lavender which is one of my favourite colours... The hunt is between Feb 23-March 10 so it already has begun and you only pay 5 L for an exclusive hunt item. I chose here below; Ionic's super cool indie poster prints, Alouette's cozy and comfy reading bench and Circa's cute pouffe and placed it in my Vespertine tree house... There is also Half Deer, Senzafine, Nudolu, Immerse and Intrepid among the designers. So what are you waiting for, run to the hunt and get your Lavender coloured hunt items before March 10:D
